Here is another kind of sand sculpture... this work of art was
made entirely of colored sand poured together to make this beautiful Day of
the Dead mural on the floor at Plaza Galerias in Puerto Vallarta. Behind
the mural are the traditional altars dedicated to passed loved ones. In
public displays like this one, the altars are often dedicated to famous
people who are no longer with us.

The beaches located to the south of Puerto Vallarta in
Costalegre are an amazing find for the adventurous traveler.
The common areas at the Delcanto Condominium development located in Flamingos Nayarit are nearing completion.
Repairs have begun on the Rio Ameca bridge, which collapsed
during unusually heavy rains a month ago.
As the rainy season draws to a close, we still see spectacular
sunsets... this one from the rooftop Insu restaurant at the Marival
Residences Condo Hotel.
Last night we went to see a friends band play live at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Puerto Vallarta Malecon. We had a great time listening to lots of good classic rock music like Steppenwolf, AC/DC, Metalica, Leonard Skinnard, etc.
It's December 12th, it's 75 degrees F and perfect in Puerto Vallarta. It's Saturday and the neighborhood kids are in the pool having a good time!

Marina Vallarta only minutes before a torential tropical downpour. Photo was taken from the Walmart parking lot yesterday (23 July). Minutes later we had one of our strongest downpours of the year, it lasted about 2 hours and made driving conditions very difficult.
