Casa Sierra Vista Open House – Fluvial Vallarta
In the evening of Thursday the 9th of October we held an open house event for “Casa Sierra Vista” in Fluvial Vallarta. Casa Sierra Vista is an exceptionally well designed 3BR house located in the trendy “Fluvial” area of Puerto Vallarta, just behind the Vallarta hotel zone.
Whilst the event went well and many local Realtors came to view and learn about this great property, the skies of Puerto Vallarta gave us the last major storm of the rainy season. As the sun went down the skies opened with a colossal downpour of rain lasting nearly 2 hours, accompanied by a spectacular lightning show. The storm was so powerful that one of the electricity generators was hit and electricity inside the entire Bay of Banderas was down for over 1 hour ! We therefore held what was probably Puerto Vallarta’s first “Candle-lit open house” !
Even with the difficult circumstances, like always in Mexico, everyone was upbeat and the open house was a great success. Just be sure in the summer months to keep a few candles in your house as it’s not uncommon to have power outages!
